TVO kids is an amazing website and they have many educational games for us to use!
The Amazing Spelling Fleas game helps children through five different games

1. Catch a Falling Star - children will be able to pick out verbs
2. Flea Flippin- students will learn new vocabulary and match a photo to a word
3. The Amazing Flea-vil- students will chose the right letter to complete a word
4. Bubble Blast- allows students to see misspelled words and choose the right ones
5. What did you Flea?- students match certain pictures to sentences

Students will reinforce their spelling and vocabulary practices which parallels the Ontario Curriculum through Section 3.1 which states that students at a Grade 2 Level will learn to automatically read and understand many high frequency words, words with common spelling patterns and words of personal interest or significance in a variety of different reading contexts.
